I am mega-excited to photograph their wedding later this year, and I’ve had a ton of fun with Jack & Jenny already during their engagement sessions. We attempted to shoot inside the Meyerson for this session, but it turns out Barbara Bush was speaking that night and well… we couldn’t get in. We made the most of our time by shooting around the area including at Klyde Warren park!

Wedding – Bob + Tamara

I have no idea what to say for this post. It was such an honor to be a part of Bob + Tamara’s wedding day. I teamed up with Evan Godwin this past Sunday to capture an emotional and intimate wedding in the Fort Worth Stockyards. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for an outdoor ceremony! I have so much to share!

I am so thankful to have been a small part of such a special day.

When the new Klyde Warren Park opened, I was pumped to spend a lot of time there. It’s a really great greenspace right in the middle of Uptown/Downtown. The Gallifords met me there for an early morning family portrait session. I love the bright, colorful images we made together.

Engagement – Ryan + Shannon

Ryan + Shannon had so much fun on their engagement session. We started in the Bishop Arts District (hitting up a soda bar!) – and finished on the roof of Ryan’s office for spectacular view of downtown Dallas! Stay tuned over the next few weeks for more of this lovely couple!

Portraits – Mike + Kiara

I flew to Boston last weekend for Extreme Beer Fest. When I booked the ticket, I had no idea what to expect out of the weekend. It turns out, noone did! A massive, super big, GIANT blizzard blew through New England just after I arrived and shut the city down. Needless to say, Extreme Beer Fest was cancelled. I’m super thankful to Mike for hosting me and sharing his blizzard provisions with me. He and Kiara are both up for adventure, and were enthusiastic when I suggested that we actually go out in the blizzard to make some photos. I love it when folks will take a risk with me!

Of course, we spent more time making photos when the weather wasn’t awful, but we definitely started during a crazy snowfall!

The weather improved immensely the next day, so we hiked to Kiara’s place for grilled cheese sandwiches and some really nice black cherry soda.

Everyone took the opportunity to thaw out a bit.

The next day we headed out to Boston College to make some portraits on the way to the aiport. We had a task set for us getting Mike’s sunglasses out of his snowed-in car!

I had so much fun with these two. I hope I can get back to Boston to see them again soon!

I don’t remember the name of these falls =/My lovely wife and me. She’s the best!We just don’t get view like this in Dallas.

These ladies were watching the sunset on Craggy Pinnacle with us and looked awesome, so I asked if I could make their photo. I got their email to share the images with them. They were a hit!The night sky is so romantic! (Note, I used my iPhone to light up our faces!)

I spent some time with these two last Sunday and we had a blast! We set out to celebrate a fun season in their lives and to play with chalk! When the Dyer’s asked me to photograph their session, I was thrilled. (Don’t tell them I’ve been excited to make their photos forever) We planned out a creative time together, and here’s what we did:
